1. Treating his work as his priority:
Getting the customer query/problem emails directly onto his email account, rather than the staff. He, unlike other CEOs, does not leave all the customer queries for the staff people, and i.e. you can mail him directly if there’s any problem. He reads all of them on his own and then transfers it to the relevant authority and also takes notes if the problem was solved or not.
2. He’s the man with achievements:
Jeff Bezos has appeared in Fortune’s “Fifty Great Leaders of the World” list for three years in a row. He was also listed as the “Businessperson of the Year” in 2012. Amazon is the largest online e-retailer in the world. Jeff Bezos himself was declared as the richest person in the world with an estimated net worth just over $90 billion.
3. He is very disciplined:
He tries his best to get at least 8 hours of sleep. Unlike other CEOs who work late nights to get successful, he makes no such compromises and always makes sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep. Also, he wakes up in the morning without the help of an alarm clock.
4. He’s a movie buff and takes notes from those too:
Jeff Bezos is a huge fan of Star Trek series and it is also said that Alexa, his AI voice assistant was engineered after watching one of the Star Trek movies.
5. The Two Pizza rule for meetings:
He believes that the number of people in a meeting should be decided accordingly to just finish two pizzas. This is because he generally organises meetings with fewer people, the reason being the fewer the people are, the individual person has his voice and more to contribute to the discussion.
6. He works the unconventional way:
He doesn’t allow powerpoint presentations in the office. In regards to improve critical thinking in the office, he does not allow any powerpoint presentations. Rather he requests the employees to work on their writing skills and submit a six-page proposal for a presentation.

He is bold enough to take big risks with his mind right in to churn out every profit he can possibly take out. One of the examples is to put mouth-watering discounts on his e-retail site to decrease his profits and get the maximum sale possible.
8. He never gives up:
there was a time when the company went bankrupt in 2003 and when he had to lay off 14% of his workforce and close some of the distribution centres in order to cover the debt. He never let go of his patience, never ever he gave up and in mere 4 years, he created a profit of about 400 million dollars for his company. And in 2013(in almost 10 years), Amazon was recognised as the largest online shopping retailer in the world.
9. He was a curious and intelligent child:
Since a young age, he was always inventing something. His inventions as a child included a solar cooker, a hovercraft, a robot, and lasers too. To keep his siblings out of his room, he invented an electric alarm once.
10. He started with nothing but he always had a dream:
He started with a small cubical space and named his company Amazon with just a motive of selling books through an online platform. The company name Amazon came from the river Amazon. Started with books but he wanted to do more, achieve more for himself and his company and for this, he started online music and video sale, he also came up with a business plan and announced his online retail website with a variety of products. And he finally was able to live his dream.
